Local dictation you own.
Free, open-source dictation for Windows. Pro is a separate account-backed private voice workspace — $69 for three years of updates, and lifetime use of what you already installed after that.
Two builds, one product.
Free
Local dictation you control. No account. Updates come from the public download page on novpax.org — take the numbered installer, and checksums are published alongside it.
Pro
A separate Pro app: searchable local transcripts, Markdown and JSON exports, airplane mode, and a network ledger. Your voice workspace is stored on your Windows device; optional remote polish remains your choice. You buy it once — it isn't a Sanctuary subscription.
Meetings stay under Atmospeak Pro.
Dictation and a local Pro workspace
Windows dictation is live as the free, open-source version. Pro adds searchable local transcripts, Markdown and JSON exports, airplane mode, and a network ledger around the same engine.
Long-form meeting capture
Capture, mark, and review longer sessions locally. That slice is not in the current Pro release; the live buy path is the workspace above.
Commerce, updates, accounts.
Why is Sanctuary a subscription but Atmospeak Pro one-time?
Sanctuary is an account-backed companion that keeps syncing and sending reminders across your devices. Atmospeak Pro is a separate local app with a dedicated Atmospeak account for purchase, downloads, devices, and updates. Deliberately different arrangements.
What does “3 years of updates / lifetime after” mean?
Your $69 purchase includes three years of Pro updates. After that, no new Pro releases reach that account entitlement — but the version you already installed keeps working, for good.
Do I need a Sanctuary account?
No. Free Atmospeak needs no account. Pro buyers sign in at pro.novpax.org with a dedicated Atmospeak account — a separate login from Sanctuary — and the $69 Polar purchase is bound to that account for downloads, devices, and updates.
Quiet tools you own.
Sanctuary is a subscription tied to your account. Atmospeak Pro is a one-time purchase with a dedicated account for downloads and device access. Same Nov Pax posture — a different arrangement for a dictation tool you keep.
