Local dictation you own.
Free MIT dictation on Windows. Pro is a separate licensed build with compliance tools and gated updates — $69 for three years of updates, lifetime use of what you already installed after.
Free installer URL is ready (/downloads/atmospeak/free/atmospeak_1.0.3_x64-setup.exe). Artifact upload to the marketing deploy is still pending — the path will serve the NSIS setup once published.
Two builds, one product.
Free
Local dictation you control. No account. Updates from the public download path on novpax.org. Prefer the versioned NSIS setup EXE; checksums ship beside it when published.
Pro
Separate Pro binary: airplane mode, network ledger, and more compliance tools now; meeting transcription on the Pro roadmap. One-time Polar checkout — not a Sanctuary subscription.
Meetings stay under Atmospeak Pro.
Free local dictation
Windows dictation surface is live as the MIT free build. Pro adds compliance features in a separate licensed channel.
Meeting transcription
Local AI meeting transcription consolidates into Atmospeak Pro — not a second waitlist product named Atmos.
Commerce, updates, accounts.
Why is Sanctuary a subscription but Atmospeak Pro one-time?
Sanctuary is an account-backed companion with ongoing sync, push, and tiered features. Atmospeak Pro is a tool you own: one Polar checkout, an online licence, and a separate Pro binary — intentionally different commerce.
What does “3 years of updates / lifetime after” mean?
Your $69 purchase includes three years of Pro builds and gated updates. After that window, no new Pro builds ship to that licence — but the Pro you already installed keeps working for lifetime use.
Do I need a Sanctuary account?
No. Free Atmospeak needs no account. Pro activates with a Polar licence key in the app — not a Sanctuary login.
Quiet tools you own.
Sanctuary stays subscription + account. Atmospeak Pro stays one-time Polar + online licence. Same Nov Pax posture — different commerce for a dictation tool you keep.
