QUIET,BY DESIGN.
Your mind deserves a quiet place. Sanctuary is a calm companion of science-rooted tools — box breathing, binaural focus, and gentle eye-rest.
On attention, honestly.
We don't build habits.
We let the habits build us.
What it does.
Box breathing.
A steady box pattern — inhale, hold, exhale, hold, four counts each — slow enough to engage the parasympathetic nervous system and bring cortisol down.
Binaural focus.
An optional 250 Hz tone with a 4 Hz offset nudges neural activity toward a theta flow state through auditory entrainment. Gentle, and easy to turn off.
20-20-20 restore.
Every twenty minutes, a prompt to look at least twenty feet away for twenty seconds — clinically-backed visual rest, kept by the app instead of by you.
Sanctuary — one calm room.
It sits beside your work.
Sanctuary is one calm companion — not a meditation library, not a streak tracker, not a feed. Press and hold the companion to begin a focus session, with optional binaural tones. Every twenty minutes or so it eases you into a short box-breathing rest, then back to focus. End whenever you like.
On the same cadence it reminds you to look at least twenty feet away for twenty seconds — and if you can't, to close your eyes. The far gaze is what relaxes the focusing muscles; closing your eyes is the gentler fallback.

Asked, answered.
Is this a meditation app?
Not exactly. It's a calm companion with a few science-rooted tools — box breathing, binaural focus sessions, and 20-20-20 eye-rest. No library, no daily quotas, no streak nudges.
How long is a session?
Twenty minutes by default — adjustable in Settings. You can end anytime.
How does the 20-20-20 reminder work?
Every twenty minutes Sanctuary reminds you to look at least twenty feet away for twenty seconds — or to close your eyes if you can't. The far gaze is what relaxes the focusing muscles; closing your eyes is the gentler fallback.
Can I change the voice or interval?
Yes. Settings hold the voice, the interval, and the soundscape. The default interval is twenty minutes.
Will there be more tools?
In time, yes — and anything new will live in the same room, never as a branch into a library. We'd rather do a few things well than pile up a shelf that doesn't.
What about data and privacy?
We keep it minimal: anonymous product analytics, session data tied to your account, and audio generated on your device. An account is optional, nothing is sold or used for ads, and you will be able to export or delete your data from Settings once those controls ship. Until then, contact support for account requests.
Your quiet hour is already here.
